We would like to acknowledge stage manager Charlie McCauley, Marilyn Kloss and Sheryl Lafayette for their work as librarians, Dick Porter for writing program notes, Sue Stone for designing brochures and programs and decorating the lobby, Grant Anderson for maintaining the sound system, Marsha Westerberg for organizing the Young Artist Concerto Competition, Barbara Marden for her work on corporate sponsorship, Rob Orr for photographs of the orchestra, Alan Yost for conducting the Benefit Concert, the Messiah Sing, and the Gilbert and Sullivan performances, Carole Wayland for maintaining our web site, and Sue Masse, Marian Levinstein, Nancy McCarthy and Carol Sohn for organizing our Pops concerts. Many other orchestra members have put in countless hours decorating the hall and lobby, soliciting program ads, and organizing post-concert receptions. We are deeply grateful for all of these contributions.

Rehearsal and dress information

The orchestra rehearses on Tuesday nights, September until May, from 7:30 p.m. until about 10:15 p.m. at 51 Walden. The week of our concerts there is an additional Thursday rehearsal.

Concert dress is long black for the women, and tuxes for the men. For our Pops Concerts, women wear black skirts or pants and white blouses, accented with a touch of red. Men wear tuxes and red bow ties.

Members only site.
