Celebrate American music with composers including Bernstein, Gould and Gershwin. Salute big bands with Custer's Salute. Play trumpet (Toy Trumpet by Raymond Scott) or typewriter (Leroy Anderson, The Typewriter). Enjoy Hoffer's Four, By George (an arrangement of Gershwin songs) with our guest vocalist and McBride's Variety Day Violin Concerto. Sing along with Davis/Schaefer's I'd Like to Teach World to Sing, Gershwin's 'S Wonderful, and Youmans' Tea for Two. This plus Stars and Stripes, refreshments and the atmosphere that makes POPS great. |
